Wow, first Peter O'Toole and now Billy Jack!

Oh yeah, O'Toole was surely robbed of winning an Oscar but what about Tom Laughlin?
Check this scene showing everyone's favorite peace-preaching, ass-kicking Indian.

Now this is acting!!

Believe she is knocking on 100.
If I recall correctly, Fontaine and de Haviland quit talking to each other decades ago. Kind of sad.

(Putting on the flak jacket)

But I digress: The "Academy" offered to give Maestro O'TOOLE an "honorary" Oscar, and he declined (GRACIOUSLY), saying (at age 80s), "Oh, no, perhaps I can still EARN one?!1"

Th'other one who should have one (as opposed to "needing" one) is Doris DAY.

8. Well, Peck got the Oscar for To Kill a Mockingbird. Not a bad call.

Where O'Toole was hosed is The Lion in Winter. Cliff Robertson won for Charly. Decent actor, so so film. Neither in the same time/space continuum with Lion and Sir Peter.
