I would agree, but also point out that Pink's attitude toward women (and life) seemed to have been forged by his mom, who lost her husband in the war and either consciously, or unconsciously, turns Pink into sort of a surrogate husband...a role he shouldn't have to play, as a child. Then there's the whole problem with people trying to turn kids into little robots.

Anyway, I would say that it's probably a warning to parents not to use their children for their own emotional needs.

The song, "Comfortably Numb" never fails to shred my heart...
