The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI just got my Xmas cards ready to mail. Some of the cards are from sets I sent out a few years ago.
I sincerely hope nobody remembers those cards from a few years ago.
I have to say, I got a laugh out of it. Sounds like Jack Benny.

(5,167 posts)I like to include a personal note. HAve done a short letter as few times, but my printer is non-functioning at present, so no go on that.
It's often the only time I keep I touch with long-time friends, and that is more and more important to me as I grow older.

(59,440 posts)I never see them and it's cheaper than sending a regular card. Other than that, I haven't sent xmas cards in years.

I did send out new ones this year because my husband went crazy and bought a box of them.

(28,394 posts)I get about 3 sent per day. The personal notes take me forever.
I found two boxes of cards that I bought a couple of years ago when Borders went out of business! They were 75 % off! I have a lot of partial boxes of unused cards from years gone by. I'll get around to them eventually. No one remembers, trust me.
