My church choir does a lot of old English carols, medieval and Renaissance carols, and modern carols composed in the classical style.

I like Christmas music but I have a low boredom threshold and like to mix things up. I've got everything from The Hallelujah Chorus to blues to Cajun to trad to Sting. And Odetta. And Leon Redbone. And The Pogues. Joan Osborne. Some Japanese thing that my husband gave me that goes on and on and on...

"I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas"

Although the Pogues' "Fairy Tale of New York" was a close second:

The traditional pieces i appreciate for their artistry and musical beauty,
especially if well-executed by someone like Josh Groban, the Vienna Boys Choir, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, etc...

The 'contemporary' i enjoy singing along with...
Well, all except for "Christmas Shoes", which makes me want to throw the radio...
(but that's a thread for another day)

And the 'twisted' ones are just fun...

My usual commentary on it is that the kid's dad needs to be investigated by CPS, because he's letting a kid too young to really understand 'money' run around all alone in the first place...
