David Grohl speaks for many of us!!!

Last edited Sun Feb 12, 2012, 11:31 PM - Edit history (1)

I'm so tired of overly processed music. Grammys should have awards for best computer generated, autotuned because that's most of the crap that's made today.

Hooray for those that still make real music like the Foo Fighters

They'd make an awesome half time show, I saw them live last year on the "Wasting Light" tour and they kicked serious ass - played a good 3+ hours without a dull moment in between.

...has to do, with the fact that his band is recording using analog recording equipment.

Today, for the average band, that is a luxury recording experience - hmmmm - just like it used to be before the digital format took over.

Analog rules!

First it was Kanye West sounding like he was singing through a 70's voice box ala Peter Frampton or Aerosmith. Then it just snowballed from there. Will it ever end?

He is so cool. Check out the documentary "Back and Forth" about the history of The Foo Fighters and the recording of their last album if you haven't already. It's really good.

What was relevant for me was watching Kasabian kicking ass and taking names live last weekend in Dubai...

One of the best live acts going right now...!
