Who's life do you envy the most?...

Of all the people out there who's life, if any, do you envy the most?

For me this is easy. Anthony Bourdaine, that guy has managed to life my fucking dream life and gets paid mighty well for it too.

I really don't envy anyone their life.

I like mine (on the whole!) just fine. At least I will as soon as I get this damned joint replaced!

2. To single out any one person would mean that

you are comparing your insides to their outside. Few of us ever really know all that is going on inside another. I've envied many only to later find out about their inner conflicts, struggles or challenges that suddenly made my life seem pretty good in comparison. Others at times have envied me - again without knowing how I was really hanging on by an ever unraveling thread. Sorry, didn't mean to rain on your parade - so I'll play along. If I was going to choose on pure assumption on how I perceive their life, I guess I would pick Michelle Obama. I truly admire our First Lady.

3. In general, people who have the means to travel extensively.

I used to be able to travel a lot but those days are gone for now.
