This is one smart cat! The day the storm started I went out and made sure there was a huge bowl of food, to last out the storm. He was there, ate and left. Today was the first we've seen him since. His box was empty later the same day and ever since. This morning we noticed kitty tracks around the deck so we cleaned all the snow off the deck and wasn't but about 15 minutes, he was back! Where ever he rode out the storm, he found a good, warm spot. Now to get him fattened up again.

(39,343 posts)he/she sits on the roof of our tool shed in the mornings for food and then the rest of the day hangs out on a part of our roof above where our other outside cats get fed. It's a sheltered piece of roof where it stays out of the wind and rain. He/she too survived sub freezing temps.

(15,090 posts)He was a half-grown kitten when we started feeding him last summer and has filled out to be a big tom. We haven't been able to get our hands on him and tried to trap him before the cold snap without luck. Don't know where he holed up, but he turned up for breakfast this morning as usual.
