Here on the Maine coast, we're suddenly on the tropical side of the polar vortex. The temperature jumped to nearly 50 degrees and it's windy and raining out. I drove to the hospital early this morning on black ice My last steep downhill, I had a vision of me missing the stop sign, sliding right across the street, past the house and into the river. I was bracing myself for it the last 20-30 feet, when a sand truck turned into the street I was on and blasted salt right under my car! Amazing timing!

But yeah. Fuck you, winter is just about right!
