Boise hosts first-ever Internet Cat Video Festival

BOISE -- Fuzzy felines frolicking on the Internet took center stage at Boise's Knitting Factory Friday.

The Internet Cat Video Festival is the first celebration of online cat videos we've heard of.

The event featured 85 cat videos spanning 75 minutes, including everything from six-second Vine videos to short kitty films, and everything meow-licious in between.

Interestingly, the world-famous keyboard cat was featured along with Will Braden, the creator of the "Le Chat Noir," who also hosted the event.

The reporter and myself were a bit catatonic with the Googling.

Published on Oct 1, 2013
TJ and I got to go to the 2nd Annual Internet Cat Video Film Festival in Minneapolis, MN, August 28, 2013. Sponsored by the Walker Art Center. We met: Will Braden (Henri Cat videos), Chris Torres (Nyan Cat), Charlie Schmidt (Keyboard Cat), Mike Bridavisky (Lil Bub), Maddy Kelly (Kittens Inspired by Kittens), Grumpy Cat and her entire entourage, and last but not least so many of our fans! Thanks to everyone who came out we can't wait for next year.
