and since retiring and no longer having office obligations, I haven't worn one. I am however now using my grandfather's old pocket watch on a gold chain from his days as a railroad engineer in the early 20th century. I'm looking to buy a Victorian style waistcoat for it and maybe a derby or homburg hat. That's more than retro and probably a bit eccentric.

... he was the VP of the Virginia Central RR for awhile, and the watch had a VCRR cigar cutter on the chain. Solid gold, original glass. Eventually the mainspring broke.

I can't abide wrist watches and have not worn one for over 30 years. Pocket watches are much more civilized: if I require to know the time, I take it out and look, I'm not always being reminded of it.

and when I retired, plus the advent of cell phones and all kinds of time displays, never needed them.

I wear stainless steel bracelets on each wrist. A little bit biker.

... I don't even have the tan lines anymore to show where I used to wear them.

Which means they're probably close to being retro, yes.
