We ain't used to this on the Alabama gulf coast.
Below freezing for 24 hours.
You have any idea what freezing rain does to a heat pump?
It ain't pretty.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
All uh y'all Yankees will come in here with "The HIGH in Chicago was -14." and such.
(The coldest morning I ever experienced in my whole life was pre-flighting an airplane at O'hare at 6 am back in the day.)
But this is damn COASTAL Alabama.
I was in short sleeves at Thanksgiving.
I've been in Bermuda shorts at Christmas.
This is just WRONG!
