Say hello to my new girl, Marcy

She was rescued from some people that just left her outside alone all night, gave her no training, minimal care. My friend Maria called me last night to see f I could foster her. Within an hour I had taught her to sit, understand "NO", and she had made herself at home. About 2 in the morning she climbed up on the bed and snuggled up to me. I guess I'm hers now.

She is a beauty, but she is not an accessory, people who treat animals like things really irritate me. Good she is with you now.

We got him 1 year ago from an ASPCA organization, when he was almost a year old. A woman adopted him when he was 2 months old, and brought him back after 7 months saying "she wasn't a dog person." He seemed to have no training--my guess is he was crated for most of the day/night. Mos def black lab, can't figure out the other part--rescue place said bassett but the ears don't match--chihuahua perhaps? He's pretty high strung and can get nippy but sweet and loves to play fetch. He's spoiled rotten and sleeps on our bed--I'm so glad we gave him a good home. You did a great thing by taking her in!

Edit: fyi, we don't use that collar!

She seems to be saying: OK, now I'm here...what'll we do today?

I love that her tail is blurry with wagging!

Congrats to you both!

I'm so glad she found you. (Fostering can be dangerous because you can fall in love with them so quickly!)
