It just takes a real long time to kill them because they don't have much water in their body. Maybe taht is why they are a high protein food.

and they did not have a time. just eventually. It is the boiling of water in the body that does it. The cockroach only has a little water , so it takes a lot more time.

Put a grape in the unit, start it and if you're lucky, the pressure inside the grape will shoot out the stem end, sending the grape scooting across the oven.

Have you ever put a bar of Ivory soap in the microwave? It expands in a slow motion explosion. It only works with Ivory bars.

My experience is that only one is six or so will move. Many just boil in place, becoming a puddle of hot grape juice and skin
