4. He's the frontman of the band "Foo Fighters" and former drummer for "Nirvana"

Did you see him tonight on the Beatles salute? He thanked the Beatles and dedicated the song they played to his Mother (a Beatles fan) and to his daughter (also a Beatles fan) who made a little heart with her hands. Earlier in the show, they showed her dancing on her dad's lap in the audience.



Foo Fighters also did a cool thing to protest the Westboro Baptist church a few years ago.

Of course, I didn't know who he was, because I'm hopelessly out of date…but I asked my son about him, I was so impressed! The salute was great, but it left me feeling really sad. I guess that's what happens with age. (I'm just about exactly as old as Paul McCartney). Sigh.
