My idea for a James Bond Olympic event
I caught some figure skating earlier today and thought I heard the James Bond theme which got me thinking. Why not a James Bond themed Olympic event? I suppose it must be a series of events because secret agents are multi-talented. Seven events seems the logical choice. So I give you the James Bond Winter Heptathlon...
001 - Biathlon - Same as normal winter biathlon only the competitors can shoot at each other with tiny pistols.
002 - Baccarat - If poker can be on ESPN then some other card game can be in the Olympics.
003 - Fencing - with sabers. Winner is first to draw blood from the torso.
004 - Skydiving - Contestants will jump in pairs holding one packed parachute. Survivors advance to the next round.
005 - Motoring - on ice whilst being chased by snowmobiles with machine guns.
006 - Swimming - under ice - from one ice hole to the next.
007 - Drinking - Vesper Martinis. Last person standing wins the medal.
