Valentine's Day-meh... Get out your beads (and sinful YOU): February 15 starts MARDI GRAS season!
with Fat Tuesday finale on March 4.
......for those not into the whole Valentine's Day thing, rejoice! I always thing of Mardis Gras time as heralding in Spring. YEAH!

I'll be putting up my Mardi Gras wreath, banner flag and little yellow, purple, and green lights on my potted shrubs this weekend.
May even bake a King cake (complete with the baby) next week. 
After a tough winter, everyone should celebrate!
Only I have to substitute shrimp, king crab, moose sausage for boudin, BP approved country/western, no restaurants to speak of, 6 1/2 feet of snow, 18 below zero, and my motorcycle is parked till May ............ah, well -
