i'm out on a hot date with myself

tv is busted, husband went to bed early and i was bored to tears, so here i am at ihop with my kindle for company. the coffee is just as bad as it was when i started hanging out here in high school.

i'm just glad the only weather we're getting is wind and i could go out, i was so antsy sitting around by myself.

I haven't started driving yet since my shoulder surgery in January, so I'm mostly home. My husband is doing all the driving. We do go out now and then, and even though I'm not really stir crazy, I do enjoy seeing the neighborhood and the town.

3. i take myself out a couple times a month

the husband is such a homebody and it's hard to get him out of the house, but i don't mind being out by myself.

For the record on a past couple birthdays I've taken myself our dinner and a movie. Popcorn and flowers not chocolate though.
