Just wanted to share this.

My beautiful, talented, 36 year-old daughter just found a job after 9 months of unemployment. She lives in NYC and has been on countless interviews and lost unemployment wages in January with so many others, but she never lost her positive outlook on life. I am also grateful that she found something in her area of interest. Even though her story has a happy ending, I can't help but think about those here on DU (& throughout the nation) that are looking for employment and have been looking for a lot longer than 9 months. My heart goes out to all of you that are in this insane predicament.
