My House Feels So Boring After Seeing These 33 Awesome Things.

This lamp that turns any room into a mysterious forest

An indoor herb garden for your kitchen

A stained glass door

An awesome wade-in, handicap accessible pool (or for me when I’m lazy)

An indoor ice cave that’ll stun your guests

... although some of that stuff I wouldn't have on a bet.

And there are much nicer stained glass doors. I had a friend who made her own.

speaking of friends ... there is a stained glass business owned by some friends of mine in town.

They do absolutely gorgeous work.

but I suspect the sandbox desk would quickly become a litterbox desk at our house.

I have 7 cats (6 if you're an official from my city). I'd be sifting through that 3 times a day.

It was a wonderfully cozy sensation and the smell of books mingled with the musty attic aroma was fantastic.

I highly recommend that one

just put down a light maple hardwood floor a couple weeks ago. We have to replace all the treads on the stairs leading up because they are the original dark wood.

So I will ask my husband to replace the treads and make book storage - I mean how hard can it be???

I'll have to content myself with the beauties in my own home, though; 2 dogs and somewhere around 400 books or so. Well, plus inherited and scrounged antiques, with some unique decorating. For instance, I collect interesting furniture hardware when I don't want the entire piece. My kitchen cabinets have drawer pulls from a couple of art deco desks not worth saving, etc.

I have a feeling that when people come to see you for the first time, they want to scrutinize all your unique, personal decorating ideas.

That is the only kind of house to have!
