One more question about House of Cards—spoilers

Toward the end, when we see Doug lying in the woods, we hear a helicopter go over. This is just after the President has resigned and left Camp David by helicopter.

Could it be that Doug had finally slipped his leash and was on his way to Camp David to deliver Rachel to the (then) President?

She was the last person out there that knew enough incriminating details to bring down Frank Underwood. Frank had no problems killing Peter Russo or Zoe Barnes so I think that would have been Rachel's fate. Dead Men (and women) tell no tails.

I'm wondering if Stamper is really dead. I mean he looks pretty dead or maybe he's just in a coma close to death. I'll be interesting to see how that plays out come season #3

Rachel is the keystone to bring down the house of cards. But where was Doug taking her? I think not to Frank because he had been out of touch and didn't know that Frank would be at Camp David becoming the new President.

If he was heading to Camp David, he was heading to the President, not Frank.
