Finally made it to 5000 posts!!! Here's some goofy pictures!!!

1985: Freshly back in NC after having rambled-solo all the way to Los Angeles and back on a Grayhound!

1999: I sent this one to Lyric in the mail (before we'd ever met in person) because she seemed down, and i wanted to give her a laugh!

I once went from the East Coast to West Coast on a bus, it was uneventful until LA and some crazy folks came aboard.

...and as the first time i'd gone west of the Blue Ridge mountains...
Grand adventures (including our bus getting searched by the Border Patrol just outside El Paso), and got to see so many beautiful things...

I've done a LOT of long-distance bus travel... i can sleep almost anywhere, so for me it's preferable to flying (if i have the extra time).
