according to this, both pronunciations can be used/accepted...

I used to have a huge issue with the word "drug" when it was used as the past tense of "drag", but upon checking, I found "drug" can be used that way.

And...the word "memento". I got pretty peeved when people pronounced it "MO-mento", but even that way is acceptable.

So..."drug the log up the hill" and "a beautiful momento" make my ears sting, but what can you do...

According to the Bake Dictionary of Pronunciation, it's tem-plate and flas-sid. Except I don't even know what flaccid means. I'm just sayin' ... you know ... not from personal experience or anything like that ...
