What kind of extension cord is this?

Anyone know?

The picture is a crop of a crime scene photo.. A man was bound to a small tree with the cord, and the ends of the cord were plugged into each other.

I don’t recall ever seeing a plug end like that, but I don't usually pay much attention to extension cord plug ends.

I'm going to keep extension cords in mind when I need to tie something up, but like you, I won't tie up people.

Thanks again.

the one on the tree is, I am quite sure now that the large piece on the receptacle end is a safety cover.

Thanks!

Older version I think of the wall hugger plug, newer ones are flatter.

something resembling it online and at the hardware store today. If it's an older version, maybe the hardware guy will know.

Thanks again.

Similar to wall huggers, wires come out of the plug at the bottom/side so they don't get bent/broken if something gets pushed up against where they are plugged into the outlet.
