I'm always amazed at how they managed to completely change the look of the Bradbury. And the building was in use while they were shooting, so they'd come in at night, dirty the place up, shoot and then had to clean it all up again before people came in to work in the morning. Lather, rinse, repeat for every night of shooting.

The only nitpick I'd have with who made this, is that the video seems to imply that the interior of the Frank Lloyd Wright building was used in the movie. Instead for the interiors of Deckard's building they took castings of the wall patterns of the FLW house and then used those to build a set. Only the driveway of the building is in the movie.

I still remember the letdown I felt when I tracked down the Bradbury (pre-internet) and realised those squat columns weren't there...

I expected it to be clean and brighter, but to still look more like those old buildings do here in Europe; slightly dark and moody. I was surprised by just how bright, friendly and colourful it looked!

I've got the 5 DVD box set of Blade Runner and in the "Making of..." documentary Ridley Scott recalls that, when he said he wanted to shoot in the Bradbury, people said he was crazy, because everybody and their grandmother had shot it. And he just said, "Not the way I'm gonna do it."
