And now I must do a little bragging. The streak is alive!

I returned to school in May of 2012, about 20 years after I dropped out when I was a kid. Surprisingly to me, my credit from back then transferred and I had almost enough credit to be a junior.

Now, 18 classes later, I'm a senior with a 4.0 GPA at Indiana University. I've won a scholarship, albeit a modest one (still a good accomplishment in my view), and I've been inducted into Delta Mu Delta, a national honor society for business majors. I just finished up spring semester and I'm going to get straight 'A's again in the three classes I took.

I can graduate in December of this year with a degree in business administration going at my current pace of three classes a semester. That's about the max I can do because I also work 50-60 hours a week. However, I'm pretty sure I'm going to take an extra concentration of 6 classes that will push me back until summer of next year. When I get done, I'll be qualified to be a managerial accountant.

my career. I hope that eventually you'll be able to get the CPA credential. I don't know how much more school it would be for you. My FIL had it and I'm hoping my son will on in that direction (he's a little math whiz as well). So far so good and all the best to you Tobin!

I just retrieved an IU t-shirt I've had since my daughter applied (and was accepted) there (after we visited together,) years ago, so I'll wear it in your honor!
