Remember the Oregon whale they tried to blow up?

Well, in Canada there is one in danger of exploding on it's own, on a beach.

They could call in the Oregon Department of Transportation. Or they could shoot it with a rifle, see if they could ventilate it and bleed off the pressure through a small hole without blasting some poor slob with a tidal wave of whale guts.

I guess the best thing to do would be to stab it with a hollow harpoon to try to vent the pressure without causing a spontaneous rupture.
