Today's clueless Republican

Since this is Idaho, the chances of this person not being either a Republican or a "Republicans are too liberal for me, but I vote for 'em anyway" unregistered voter are kinda slim. Back to the story.

I had to go out today to buy a new mop head for work. On the way back I stopped at a red light behind a brand-new RAV 4 with a "Save A Whale - Boycott Toyota" bumper sticker on it.

but oh, well, let’s just boycott Japan, period.

To save whales let’s also boycott Norway while we’re at it and no one buy a Volkswagen.

2. My conservative father hates Hates HATES unions, but loves Mercedes Benz cars

Stopped buying GM or Chrysler since the auto bailouts of 2008, since unions didn't take it on the chin enough for his tastes, yet fawns over MB cars even though the union presence is much much stonger at Daimler Benz, or Europe in general. He grouses when I mention that.
