The Beach Boys Shred I Get Around

I saw the Beach Boys play on the National Mall for Independence Day a few times when they were doing that--before the National Park Service decided it was too much and axed the BB concerts. Instead, the daytime entertainment was spread around various venues in the area.
And the first year they did that, I went to see The Mamas & The Papas at RFK Stadium. They played to a small crowd in the parking lot outside the stadium. Cass was gone and Michelle wasn't performing with the group, so Spanky from Spanky & Our Gang filled in for Cass and McKenzie Phillips, daughter of John and Michelle, filled in for her mom.
They did two shows and I stayed through both and had a great time. No shredding, but I really enjoyed Denny (R.I.P.) and John.
