https://www.yahoo.com/food/ramen-grilled-cheese-it-was-only-a-matter-of-time-86433864851.htmlThere was once a time, a simpler time, when we took for granted the notion that bread plays a central role in sandwiches....
KFCs Double Down, which brazenly subs out buns for fried chicken breasts, was the first to blow that fantasy to smithereens. Then there was the ramen burger, which rocked our preconceptions to the core.
And now. Now there is ramen grilled cheese. This is what weve come to!...
"When my ramen grilled cheese was finished, the noodles ended up nice and crispy on the outside, yet still soft and noodle-like on the inside," Chapman writes. "In a way ramen works almost better than bread in a grilled cheese because when the cheese melts it sort of fills in all the little nooks and crannies between the noodles."

Not so much the ones in the little cellophane packets but the real deal.

(12,132 posts)There's ramen not in cellophane?!
I like to microwave my block of ramen in a bowl of water, empty out the water, stir in the flavor packet and then dump in a can of vienna sausages. Maybe a little hot sauce if I'm feeling frisky. Take me to Umami town!

(16,306 posts)I eat them almost every day for breakfast. I cook them al dente, pour out most of the water an add a few drops of franks red hot. Yum.
Just wow.
I fucking hate Ramen noodles to begin with, why the hell would I want to eat a grilled cheese Ramen fucking sandwich?
