Here we are at Fallingwater in Pennsylvania - as you can see another couple has visited here also. The only difference between each couples visit was that one couple ate caviar and drank champagne in the famous homesteads living room and the other couple was told repeatedly not to touch anything. Can you guess which one we were?
Here I am with a section of the Berlin Wall on the Kentuck Knob site.

(149,632 posts)How cool that you were there!
I visited Fallingwater a number of years ago, and i just loved it. I will visit again someday...
And that's a very cool picture of you and the Berlin Wall bit.
I'm glad to see you both getting away and having a bit of a break. I know you need it.

Would love to get to Fallingwater too, but just did a roundtrip DC suburb of MD to Dayton. Returned via scenic routes, and posted pics in Ohio, Photography, and Travel.

(61,935 posts)What's the story behind the wall chunk at Kentuck Knob?
I went to watch the waterfall at Ohiopyle and passed the Falling Water entrance on the way down. After enjoying the waterfall for a while I drove up to the dam at Confluence. I generally don't go out that way during the Winter, but I wonder how the watefall and rapids looked like back when the rivers were freezing up in Pittsburgh. Next Winter I'll check it out.

(11,833 posts)Super cool pics. It's a shame they didn't let Brad & Angelina in for caviar and champagne.
Looks like a beautiful house. I drove by it once but didn't have time to visit. Some day! I too would like to know the story of how that bit of the Berlin Wall got there.
Hope you're enjoying the nice long weekend.

Looks beautiful; we live about an hour away and drive by it frequently if we're going to NY. Need to stop one of these days.
