today is a rare day that i get to take the bus

the buses stop running pretty early and don't easily get me around town, but is perfect for what i wanted/needed to do today.

i really like taking the bus and wish i were able to do it more. it's almost like living in a real city.

It does feel good, doesn't it?

I sometimes use our light rail when I'm going to downtown LA, for jury duty, for instance. It gets me right where I need to be, and even though it takes a pretty long time, I like it.

i'll have to put about a mile on the feet to wrap up what i need to do, but it's not too hot outside and i need the exercise.

I love taking the bus, too.

In fact, I often leave work either 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late, so I can avoid refusing rides from coworkers who want to rescue me from taking the bus...lol.

4. most of the people at work don't drive

i wish I could be one of them, but the bus stops running hours before i'm done.
