What areas of the country are NOT served by Comcast?

The reason I ask is that I am leaving Comcast because I am sick of my damn bill going up every six months. I am NOT looking forward to the call I have to make to cancel. I know that they have "retention specialists" that are paid to keep you on the phone while they bombard you with questions and try to badger you into staying with their shitty service.

One one way to avoid this is to say that you are moving to an area that is out of Comcast's service area. But I need to provide a zip code because the assholes will look up the zip code to make sure that it is "not a smokescreen for switching to a competitor."

Do any DUrs live on Comcast-free areas of the country?

Good luck!

They exist further south, in Huntington Beach, and to the north east. But they don't exist in the South Bay, around LAX.

Even though we're only a few miles outside of city limits now. The zip code I'm in also covers a lot of area that Comcast does cover, but something like 30-40% of that zip code is outside the Comcast coverage area since there is a lot of acreage with houses widely scattered. Zip is 32309, BTW.

We had satellite from very early on and now technology gives us DSL and digital TV through our DSL line (from Centurylink with their PrismTV). Look up areas with Prism TV and tell Comcast you're going with that.

You can pick a town anywhere in the middle of the country, looks like.
Tell them you are moving to Mobile, Ala. 36602.
No comcast in this state. We only have Media com.
