Because the rating for my first name sucked.

Last name I got 9.9L and more likely to give. I like that better

Quite possibly it's because I've never met one who wasn't at least a boomer or older. I don't know why it went out fashion, but it appears to be the male equivalent of Ethel or Agnes.

C'mon expecting parents, give it a try. It's a fine old, honest Anglo-Saxon name, and maybe you'll be the first to get in on a new trend. Let's be honest, you'd feel comfortable negotiating a loan from a bank manager named Ronald, wouldn't you?

There's no truth to the rumour that I was named after either Ronald Reagan or Ronald Coleman.

Basically I think any "traditional" male name will skew conservative. I plugged in a whole slew of male first names - James, Michael, Brian, Kevin - all are on the C side

That might be because it's a very common name and the large numbers would tend to average out. People with my name are also somewhat less likely to contribute to campaigns than the average person (maybe because the name, although common, is no longer fashionable so most people who have it are probably old, like me). This fact apparently is lost on the political groups who are deluging me with begging emails.

No surprise - Jeff is a pretty white name. More likely to contribute to a political campaign - and they know it, since I get 250+ spam emails a day from Democrats wanting me to donate to them. And, not sure how, but I've also gotten some from Mitt Romney and Karl Rove in recent months asking for money.

Hehehehe

I used 3 of my first names and I got that for all of them.
So I spelled one of my names another way: Ezekiel = 6.2L

Campaign Contributions

People with the name Ezekiel are less likely to contribute to a campaign than the average citizen.

if you take the average between my first and middle names. Slightly to the left for my first name, slightly to the right for my middle name. I would say overall that's fairly accurate.

I didn't think this would get any replies because it was just a silly thing to kill a minute of time. My result had me only mildly liberal, when I consider myself part of the far left, but the part about not contributing to campaigns was true. It also had my father's name right as a conservative.
