Weekend music to chill by.....Serenade Edition!

a serenade is a love song. Itzy Perlman playing a famous Serenade by Franz Schubert. Schubert was considered the greatest melody writer of all time. He died in 1828 at age 31. Yes, even younger than Mozart. His string quartets and other chamber music are outstanding.

my orchestra played the Waltz from the Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings in C, as our String Orchestra requirement in University Interscholastic League Orchestra Contest. We made an A. I was a senior and one of the first violins. Great piece!!
