At the risk of being re-named ...

1CreepyStrongBlackMan ...

I was just outside walking back from a meeting, when I came across a young(er than me) woman, walking towards me. She was wearing some really short, shorts (that she pulled down twice in the 6 steps I saw her take) and a tube top, and had a shirt tied around her waist.

Now that tells me two things that this young(er than me) woman knows, or should know ... first, it is too cool to wear that outfit; and 2, the shorts are too short.

But maybe, I've just crossed into the creepy old man generation.

1. Meh, I just feel bad for all the women that would go around on Halloween with skimpy little outfits

Friggin cold out there.

I was freezing yesterday. It will only get colder then.

I have no idea how they do it.
Seriously.

the girls out here in New Haven, CT wear those skimpy, little outfits throughout the winter when they go to the clubs.

If they want to freeze, that's their choice.
If it were me, I would put on more clothes. LOL

I know I prefer shorter shorts, like they used to make for men in the 1970's until everyone was expected to look like a droopy drawered cool kid.

I think it's only natural to check out what others are wearing, especially when it's out of the ordinary.

Now when you say "pulled down" her shorts twice, I take it to mean "adjusted in a downward way".

Otherwise something else might have been going on there.

"No daughter of mine is going out dressed like that!"

So my sister and I knew better than to try.

and BabyGil 1SBM went school clothes shopping. My wife picked out an outfit and BabyGirl said, "Yeah, Mom ... That's cute; but you know Dad isn't having it!"

BabyGirl learned early that her clothes purchases were all subject to my approval. My response to what I considered inappropriate gear was, "Yeah that's cute ... whose going to wear it?"

I felt like my great-aunt but I try not to judge. I would have been terribly uncomfortable in shorts that short even when I was very young but not everyone is like me.
