I am trying to decide where to see Dracula Untold or The Good Lie this weekend. I know for sure that I want to see The Good Life but Dracula Untold looks interesting.

(8,217 posts)I am considering watching The Good Lie.
However, who am I kidding? I am probably going to watch John Wick.

(10,953 posts)Was it worth seeing.
I checked out the synopsis of John Wick and Kuddos for the main character who goes after the guys that killed his dog. Probably due to the dog's death I don't think that I could watch it.

(8,217 posts)It has a few things going for it.
It's better than Snow White and the Huntsman. It has a slightly similar feel.
You get a guy who has a physique that I could only wish I have.
In a way, the character makes more sense than the Stoker Dracula, and a more convincing warrior.
Acting-wise, at least they are not wooden, so that is a plus for it.
I don't like the way it begins, with how movies go with a type of narration in the beginning, but I don't mind too much.
I think, that Legendary is trying to create a world where this Dracula, a Werewolf and Frankenstein, live and breath in the same world.
Which would probably be interesting, though it would be re-imagining villains in to more empathic figures.
