Of course, that was before Citizen United, so who knows how much success Howard would have had today?
But the Republicans have ALWAYS had more money than we did. There were still restrictions in place, however. They are gone now.

at how many Republicans ran unopposed. How are voters going to hear Democratic ideas if the Dems don't run candidates in their district?
