Coast to Coast AM Is Already Playing Up 'The Obama Had Brietbart Killed' Conspiracy

Last night during the first hour, new weekend host John Wells allowed his guest, Alex Jones, and his rabid right wing audience to bash Obama and play up the conspiracy that Andrew Brietbart was murdered. Now, in the past bashing liberals and Obama is nothing new on C2C. I enjoy some of the topics and I have to admit for the most part, the shows are entertaining, which is why I listen. However, they are becoming more and more political lately and I hate that.

Years ago when Art Bell was host, he NEVER went into politics. As a matter of fact I recall some callers trying to get into politics and Art would not allow them to bash any political party. He would say that is NOT what this show is about. I really do miss Art. Never knew exactly what Art's politics was but he was a firm climate change believer and had on at the time various guests discussing black box voting (and this was around the time Bush stole the election) So,one could speculate on Art's politics as they do the other topics on hi show.

C2C has now become political. With the exception of George Knapp, who I think is great and does not play this game George Noory does, the show sucks anymore. Here is a description from last nights how.

"In the first hour, radio host Alex Jones talked about the death of Andrew Breitbart. He was suspicious of the circumstances surrounding the conservative blogger's demise, since it fell on the very day that Breitbart had previously announced plans to release damning videos of Barack Obama. Additionally, Jones contended that the swift media reports claiming that Breitbart died of "natural causes," despite subsequent news releases saying it would take weeks before that could be determined, was "a big sign that this was some type of staged event." While he was hopeful that Breitbart's death was not the result of a nefarious plot, Jones declared that "we would be fools" not to consider the quizzical timing of the journalist's passing. "

I do not know much about this John B.Wells other than he sounds like a poster over at Free Republic. Where George Noory likes to pretend he is not being bias this jerk makes it very clear.

C2C exists for insomniacs who need even MORE worries to keep them awake at night. It's a self-feeding system.

it can be fun at times. Depends on the guest he has. Some of the topics are out there but the speculating and throwing out various theories is interesting. I wish Art would do a podcast or his own show. He really did a good job with it. I have a feeling he is not happy with what George Noory did to the show, which is why he won't even guest host anymore or have anything to do with C2C.

They have pretty much every conspiracy theory in existence - even the insane ones. I always skip the first hour unless I see something on the "upcoming shows" page that I like. Bell is better than Noory, but sometimes the show still explores the skeptical and scientific sides.

It never ceases to amaze me that there are people out there who believe that, despite EVERYTHING that President Obama has on his plate right now, that he gives enough of a rat's ass about a relative nobody like Andrew Breitbart to have him bumped off. And, it's not like his family or co-workers couldn't release any videos he allegedly had--if they actually existed. Not only are they fools, they're goddamn stupid. These clowns are the people PT Barnum had in mind when he said, "There's a sucker born every minute."

Brietbart claimed to have videos of Obama from College and he seemed to think something on them would be very damaging to his 2012 campaign. Anyone remember last spring when Donald Trump had some investigators go to Hawaii? He said they have uncovered some very interesting information and he would be releasing that information very very soon. Well, people forgot about it and Donald got an extra minute or two of press fro it.

I never understand is why these people who have so called evidence build it up so. They usually say they have something and will reveal it 2 weeks from now or something. My question is, why wait? Did Brietbart say he had pics of Anthony Weiner and he would release them in 2 weeks? No, he released them ASAP and took over Anthony Weiner's press conference.

So, if you have something you claim is damaging and big, then release it. No fanfare or drama or teasing. Just release what you have and let the public decide if it is what you ay it is.

Not true. Only morons and idiots if you believe anything and everything mentioned. You have to have an open ind but also be skeptical. It's fun to discuss and hear various theories on the strange and unusual. What sucks is when discussing it some jerk has to brings up something that has nothing to do with the subject being discussed.

I was annoyed because first, I hate chain mails in general, but in this case I knew it was a load of crap.

The relative showed everyone who received the email so I just hit 'Reply All' and showed the snopes article that proved the email was a load of crock. I also told the relative if I got emails like that again, even if you BCC'd the recipients - I would still just use all the emails from that first one to keep sending out refutes.

Never got chain emails again.

Louder, maybe, but hardly worth as much attention, and no more conservative than Bin Laden was Jewish.
Breitbart was radical frothing-at-the-mouth right-wing extremist, but conservative he wasn't.

I only listened to him in the late 90s when I was in college, but he had a lot of barbs for Clinton/Janet Reno, etc...And he did little to the contest the callers who had all their Clinton conspiracies that we all know so well...
