who's name I can't recall

who painted mountains in the same style

he did not so much push happy trees, however

He was all about an "almighty mountain,"
I think he was from Northern California as he was always painting and/or mentioning Mt. Shasta

does anybody remember this guy ...

the last time I saw him was at least 30 years ago
