Had a testicular hernia - Peritonial?. Mom is with him, but if you have a moment and pray, please pray for my Dad. He's a good man. He's doing well, though.

It's some sort of thing where there was a bulge next to his testicles.

I didn't get all the information, I looked it up and I'm still confused, but he is doing well.

A perineal hernia occurs in the area behind the testicles (between the testicals and the anus). I understand it can be painful but surgery can fix it. Your dad will need to be on a special diet for a while until he heals up.

Good luck to him, your mom, yourself, and any other family members. Tell your mom and dad there are a lot of anonymous people wishing him well. (Evev somebody who lives not too far from your long-lost Minnesota cousins.)

I cook for the family, and I specifically keep away from 'gouty' foods.

It is a challenge. Mom cant eat this, Dad cant eat that. I love them both, though, and do the best I can.

The diet to which I was referring is one that results in easy bowel movements. (It can be paindul otherwise.)
