This somehow is the new pride of Delaware. Be warned...

http://www.wdel.com/story.php?id=67418

The Wilmington Blue Rocks have unveiled the new name for their bacon-and-jelly-covered dog served in a doughnut bun that goes on sale as the minor league baseball team begins is season next week.

The new name is the "Sweenie Donut Dog," a moniker club officials chose because they say it's "baseball's sweetest weenie." The $7, 600-calorie sandwich has already drawn national buzz since it was first announced for its unusual combination of food.

Blue Rocks Advertising Director Brian Radle told NBC 10 the saltiness of the hot dog and bacon is counterbalanced with the sweetness of the donut and raspberry jelly

I still don't think I could bring myself to try it. I'll stick with the Blue Rocks regular dog, a soda, and cookie dough Dip-N-Dots. n/t
