EXCLUSIVE: The Ending of The Walking Dead
It's 10 years later....
Rick, Carl, and Judith have escaped the ruins of New Towne and have approached the seemingly empty Philadelphia.
They cautiously approach the Art Museum when suddenly hundreds of walkers pour out. They fire at the walkers, but that just attracts thousands more from Center City.
They flee and end up in the remnents of a music festival.
Walkers are everywhere.
Rick screams for Carl and Judith to run as he fires desperately into the herd.
Judith crys out "DAAAAAAAD!" as Rick is overcome.
Carl grabs her hand and they run, killing walkers as they go.
Carl yells out, "I'm out!"
Judith notices a porto-potty and they run inside.
Judith and Carl cry, realizing they are surrounded and out of ammunition.
Judith says, "I'm glad you were my brother."
Carl takes off Rick's dirty deputy's hat. He looks at it and a tear rolls down his face. He puts it on Judith's head and lightly touches her nose.
"I'm glad you were my sister."
They embrace as the moaning outside increases. They accepted their fate.
Suddenly the moaning stops and it is quiet.
There is a light tap on the porto-potty door and they hear the following....
Fade to black....
