but once they encroach on my space, they are fair game for a shoe or cat- mostly cat. We have two indoor cats (Manx and Meezer), and there's not much bug-wise that survives in our house more than a few hours.

A spider in the bathroom or bedroom is gonna get hit with the million-pound shithammer by me.

If it's a centipede - not a millipede, they don't gross me out - then the HEAVY artillery comes out. Ugh.

For a few years, I had two pet boa constrictors. They are fascinating pets. They don't bark, bite or shit on the carpet.

If it was the "least loved critters that should be even more detested," then rats, candiru, bobbit worms and Republicans would definitely be on the list.
