The DU Lounge

I really out-did myself!
[IMG][/IMG]
6 years after selling my guitar collection off, and probably about 12 years of not playing I found the Gretsch Electromatic that I wanted at great price, at the same time I found the Fender Ultimate Chorus Amp at a steal! Then low and behold only 2 weeks later a SRV Strat like one I used to own, appeared as a steal also!
I'm so happy about this; I feel that an old wrong has been righted (with interest), and so glad that something that I was so passionate about doing has returned to my life!

(5,604 posts)I still know in my head what I'm capable of doing, but the coordination and finger strength is going to take a while. I've probably forgotten 98% of the tunes that I knew, but I recall most of my favorite and signature blues licks alright. I'm actually looking forward to re-learning, because I want to forget my bad habits, and play some different styled stuff anyway. All in all, I'm really excited.
