Huge Fire Wood Score Today

There was a bad storm last night in my subdivision. It knocked over a lot of old trees. I helped to cut some up. I got 4 truck loads of oak, ash, and maple I need to split and put on my wood pile. At least 2 cord.

I would save some of the maple for wood projects--great stuff.
Too bad though about the trees blowing down. I scored about two cords of oak from a friend's property because of the huge fire a couple of years ago here in So Az. After two years, the blackened bark had begun to fall off. I'm hoping to go up the canyon again this summer and get more.
