Wow. This might be one of the best covers I've heard since Johnny Cash did NIN's "Hurt".

(8,559 posts)Not bad, but not good either.
I liked their cover of "Land Of Confusion" better.
Throd
(7,208 posts)It wasn't, but it wasn't very good either.
Not even in the same county as Cash's version of "Hurt"

(63,221 posts)I have heard a number of covers. I guess I am just prejudiced. I love Simon and Garfunkle together.

(26,117 posts)I've always loved the S&G version of this song, and I like the idea that some younger folks might get turned on to it via this cover.
Thanks for posting!

(53,339 posts)Paul and his son would often participate in the annual bikers' Ride to the Wall for Veterans' Day observances and Paul Revere and the Raiders sometimes performed in front of Lincoln Memorial in connection with that, sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
I saw them perform there one rainy November night and they were fantastic doing both their own hits and covers.
'Ride to the Wall' is one of their albums that features those great covers.
