(28,394 posts)I know it's dippy, but I enjoyed it. Tonight is the series finale. It has gone as far as it could I suppose, but it would be fun to see what happens to them outside the dome. What is left out there?

(53,410 posts)They're riveting! You just can't tear your eyes away! How any of these women remain friends is beyond me.
I think people who get on shows like that will do anything to stay on. Catfights, hysteria, raging attacks, screaming, anything the guys on the other side of the camera want. And it's insane how they'll let the cameras into their most intimate moments.

But thanks for fantasizing about me.
yeah you probably have the survival stuff down

(54,256 posts)All you have to do is drop trou.
Been there, done that.
But that's a whole 'nuther story.
I can make a fire with a couple of small sticks.
As long as they're wooden kitchen matches.

(54,256 posts)Of course you didn't.
Damn.
I wished we'd served at the same base.
We had no AirWomen, just men, except for the nurses.
And that is a 'nuther whole 'nuther story.
The general had his own 'special' nurse.
Look up George Reid Doster.
And 'Bay of Pigs'.
He was my CO.

(3,998 posts)Such a good show!
I was just thinking about it (Blair Brown has a recurring part on "Orange is the New Black" and I was looking at it on the computing machine. What a great cast they had. And what a great show it was!

(66,316 posts)I would watch the show, and then dream-create an episode where I was Molly Dodd's new next-door neighbor...
Any idea where I could find episodes on-line?

(153,150 posts)I remember back then thinking the writing and the acting were exceptional - I think if it was streamed now it would gain a new generation of fans

But she has her own favorites that are odd to me.
We collect DVDs like we collect books. I'm finding a lot of them in thrift stores now.
Alas those physical items are both being replaced by more advanced technologies.

(1,681 posts)Laughable writing, mechanical acting with actors you recognize but remain nameless even after you look up their names. They deliver zero emotional impact before & after they get bit/devoured by the dead. Good amount of gore + fast zombies makes it great binge watching.
It's like TWD if you don't really care. When you get up to go pee/popcorn/walk the dog, you don't really have to pause it. After you get back you'll figure out what you missed in 2 minutes.
