Today was my first paid holiday since the 90s.

Spent too many years self-employed but today i am working for someone and I get the day off all because of a kid with the head of an elephant. Thank you very much Lord Ganesha.

I am familiar with Ganesh (we're on friendly terms) and know him as the Remover of Obstacles. However, I had to look up what the significance of today was.
