He brought such great good humor and incisive wit to wherever he was posting.

I hope he knows how much we love and miss him...

Jim was just this unique, big-hearted, kind-hearted guy, and one of the things that brought him the most joy was putting a smile on the faces of others. We've both been around DU long enough to know that the road to hell is paved with good intentions...you can say something in total sincerity and innocence and the next minute people are alerting on you and positioning you as a cross between Jared Fogle and the AntiChrist (assuming they are not actually the same person). When people did that to Jim, he never understood it, because he didn't have a malicious bone in his body. But outside of a couple of times when things went sideways for him here, I know he knew he had a large number of people who had his back, who appreciated him, and credited him with being a central part of the heart of this Website.

But from what little interaction that I did have with him, I enjoyed him! I always miss the good ones on DU!
