are Bridget Jones's Diary and Danny Deckchair. There are others too, but those two are among my favorites.

I don't watch funny TV shows, just true crime docs.

It's on Comedy Central and it's clever and funny. You might also like "Documentary Now!" on IFC. Both of these play with truth in one way or another and I find them to be very amusing.

Seriously has to be one of the most ridiculous shows on TV right now. I love nonsense and this show is full of it. The episode where he reviews what it's like to start a cult I was about on the floor laughing.

And I would also recommend "The Spoils of Babylon" and its second season "The Spoils Before Dying". Will Ferrell as the reclusive author, OMG.

While preparing the presentation I had to watch it over and over and over and over and still it did NOT cease to be funny! It's just that perfect.

10. "Black Jesus"
Thu Oct 1, 2015, 12:50 AM
Oct 2015

Just started its second season on Toon Network.

Black Jesus is a six and a half foot tall black guy telling the folks in Compton to chill and love each other. The joke is, is he really Jesus, or just a guy who thinks he's Jesus?

His favorite expression is "Swear to Pops".

Written by Aaron MacGruder of The Boondocks comic strip and TV show.

Once you get past the slightly annoying laugh track, it is perhaps some of the funniest stuff you'll ever see on TV.

Also, I'm sure someone else mentioned Arrested Development, but I'd second that.

Strangers with Candy--a Comedy Central series from the late 90s-early 00s starring Amy Sedaris and Steven Colbert in one of his first TV roles.

The series tried to soldier on after Phil was killed by his batty wife, but it wasn't the same. His Bill McNeil character was a scream, and they even had one or two episodes with Dennis Miller being funny. No, really.

I've been really stressed out lately. In addition to yoga and healthy eating, I'm trying to watch happy funny movies and tv shows instead of action, horrors or dramas for a little while.
